To commemorate his upcoming milestone, Derek Jeter will wear "DJ3K" wristbands, which he designed with Major League Baseball and the Yankees. The bands feature the Turn 2 Foundation and Yankees logos and are available for purchase at the MLB.com Shop, retail outlets and Yankee Stadium. Proceeds from sales of the bands will benefit Turn 2's 2011 Jeter's Leaders Leadership Conference in July. The conference brings together Jeter's Leaders from New York City and West Michigan to present eight workshops to other youth leadership programs.

Congratulations to Derek Jeter
Derek Jeter was named USA Weekend's 2010 Most Caring Athlete for his work through his Turn 2 Foundation. The mission of his program is "To create and support signature programs and activities that motivate young people to turn away from drugs and alcohol and "TURN 2" healthy lifestyles. Through these ventures, the Foundation strives to create outlets that promote and reward academic excellence, leadership development and positive behavior. Turn 2's goal is to see the children of these programs grow safely and successfully into adulthood and become the leaders of tomorrow."
Congratulations Derek and keep up the good work.
